The Mali War is an ongoing armed conflict that started in January 2012 between the northern and southern parts of Mali in Africa.

The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali, MINUSMA, is a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Mali. MINUSMA was established 2013 by United Nations Security Council to stabilise the country.
